Ajmer Sharif Dargah
Ajmer Sharif Dargah

Ajmer Sharif Dargah is a unique example of universal religion (Sarvadharma) in the world.

People of all religions and communities live in India. Here people perform Namaz in the mosque and worship in the temple. There are many such religious places from where the message of mutual love is received. An example of this is the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the great saint Sufi Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. An example of this is the Kathara installed by King Mansingh in the holy abode of Khwaja, the Hauj of Waju, built as Akaidat of the British Queen Mary Queen. This was the reason that the famous English writer Colonel Tad wrote in his book that

‘I have seen a tomb ruling India’.

It is said that according to estimates every day, 25-30 thousand Jayarin come to Ajmer. It is said that they have the highest number of non-Muslims. According to estimates, the number of non-Muslims here is more than 60 percent. From this we can say that the great saint Safi Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti has the highest number of Hindus at the Dargah of Ajmer. It is said that behind this is the worship, hard work and deeds of Khwaja Garib Nawaz, which people of all religions and communities believe.

From this, it can be guessed that in spite of the struggle in the name of religion in the present world, a large number of followers of religion who come from all over the world, at the rate of Khwaja, present the view of Aqidat. In fact, Sufism is believed to be worshiped by a god. Sufi is not associated with any one religion. This is the reason that for almost 800 years at the rate of Khwaja, the leg of all religions have been keeping their faith equal. Perhaps this is the reason that Khwaja saheb is such an example in the world of Sarvadharma harmony, which has no harm.

Some 800 years ago, when a dervish traveled hundreds of miles, taking the promise of Allah, when he reached Ajmer in Iran from Hindustan, whoever came to him was left with him. At his rate, there was no discrimination of the poor-religion, rich-poor, big and small. His mercy rained on everyone equally. From then till today more than 8 century has passed, but be it Raja, Ranka, Hindu or Muslim, whoever kissed her frame did not leave empty.

The elevated door of the dargah of the great Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti, who has settled in the hearts of the people in the name of Khwaja Saheb or Garib Nawaz, is a witness to the greatest ruling from Muhammad-bin-Tughlaq, Allauddin Khilji and Mughal Akbar. He came in bow with full respect. This door is also a witness to the fact that Khwaja saheb is one such example in the world of all-religion harmony.

The dargah at Ajmer of the great Sufi saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti became not only the center of Islamic propaganda, but from here people of every religion have received the message of mutual love.

After the independence of the country, the first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru has also prayed in the court of Khwaja. Pt. Nehru addressed the zerines present in the dargah by climbing the stairs of the Mahfilkhana in the Dargah complex of Khwaja, which was historic. Famous personalities from the great poets Rabindranath Tagore, Sarojini Naidu, Pandit Madanmohan Malaviya to Jayaprakash Narayan, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Indira Gandhi understood and understood the message of Khwaja and presented their flowers of akidat to Ajmer.
